Hoi Aan is one of the most tourist-focused cities in Vietnam, and with good reason because, in addition to its listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city has everything to attract tourists: charming restaurants and narrow streets, exceptional local cuisine, and idyllic beaches. Dien Bien Phu is the capital of the province with the same name. It was the location of a battle which took place in Tonkin from 20 November 1953 to 7 May 1954 against the French Union forces. It is considered to be the place of victory for national liberation.

The town of Sapa is located at the summit of a hill, at 1,600 metres of altitude. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and sits above the Muong Hoa valley, where it is dominated by the famous Fansipan at 3,143 metres. An obligatory stopover during your tour of Vietnam.

I'd like to give an insight into&nbsp;Hué, a tourist town that was once an imperial city and is famous throughout the country for its food! But what tourists often don't realise is that there are numerous wonderful sites just a few kilometres from this town that are seldom visited but are nonetheless authentic and magnificent&nbsp;

Someone talks about Vietnam and you automatically think of spring rolls, pointed hats or shoulder yokes, those large sections of bamboo and their two suspended woven baskets. Our collective imagination has been flooded with these images... But do they correspond to the current reality of Vietnam? Vietnamese cooking is one of the most renowned worldwide, light and refined by the same token: spring rolls of course, but also Pho, Cha cà, Oc nhoi and other delicious meals...

I stayed for three days in Phu Quoc and I loved crossing the island on a motorbike to explore deserted beaches that were more difficult to access. For enthusiasts of underwater discoveries, you will enjoy the incredible reefs thanks to your masks and snorkels. If you wish to, you can visit one of the well known factories, famous for making the celebrated fermented fish sauce "Nuoc Mam" or the pepper plantation at Khu Tuong. For presevation, 70% of the Island's land has been protected by the Phu Quoc National Park since 2001. This island would be a lovely stopover <a href="/vietnam/">during your stay in Vietnam</a>. Phu Quoc is still an island paradise far from mass tourism with very relaxing lush vegetation.

Phu Quoc is the largest Vietnamese island, far from the crowds of tourists. A haven of green sweeping out to sandy beaches, it will delight all nature lovers.

Phu Quoc is a magnificent small island with white sandy beaches and turquoise blue water. Relaxing during my trip, resting, lazing about...that's what I did on Phu Quoc! I went snorkelling, and you can also dive from the islands to the south of Phu Quoc, which I didn't do (a question of money).  I also ate some really good seafood on Phu Quoc , but I don't recommend eating at Duong Dong night market, I was really disappointed. However, the market is cute and makes a very charming evening walk. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere which I appreciated during my stay there.  I rented a motorbike and toured the island. The roads are good and you can't get lost. It was my favourite part of the trip because you could get to almost empty beaches where the fishermen sold excellent fish! If you want to meet the locals, there's nothing better!
