Our visit to Ngorongoro Crater is one of our most memorable travel souvenirs . Nature lovers, we really got an eyeful. On the one hand, the view on the crater is unbelievable and moreover, it is very easy to observe an abundant fauna. Not only zebras, lions, gnus, but also cheetahs and rhinoceros cohabit this wide space of land. A childhood dream came true for us that day.
What surprised us was the apparent calm that reigns here, lions walk between antilopes without a murderous chase taking place (for now...). The four-wheel drives try to keep their distance from the animals so as not to disturb them. We advise you to bring along a good pair of binoculars or to check that your agency will supply you with one. For photos, make provision for the necessary equipment.
