However, it isn’t only for the flora that you will be travelling to Mexico, but also for its unique culture. The country is steeped in archaeological ruins, such as the famous Chichen Itzà. The pre-Colombian era saw extraordinary civilizations flourish; and many locations in Mexico still hold remnants of the time period still exist all around … The Spanish settlers also left a sumptuous heritage: their baroque architecture has been well preserved in several towns… For all of these reasons, as well as its gastronomy, music and lovely climate all year around. Clearly, Mexico can't be beat!

It will change your taste buds forever!

During my <a href="/mexico/">trip to Mexico</a> I went to Oaxaca and found a very charming colonial town, with brightly coloured houses, lively streets, and welcoming people.

Oaxaca is a pretty colonial town that is 500 km from Mexico City. Lots of tourists are attracted to it because of its great atmosphere and good climate. Its surroundings are also magnificent. Go to Oaxaca!

If I have to make a summary of what you will find in Oaxaca, then I will give you three words: tradition, food and handicrafts.

A pretty, colonial town which is situated in the mountains of the state of the same name, in the south-west of Mexico. It's also one of the country's most cultural destinations, with excellent food and lots of local folklore.
