A town of fisherman with the aspect of a village, a small air of a part of everyone.
My suggestion
Waking up early in the morning and having a coffee not in the principal place to see the town wake up.

A small town, famous for its pink flamingoes, located a few kilometres from Mêrida on Yucatán's east coast.
My suggestion
Consider hiring a kayak and paddling up and down the canals of the mangrove swamp at the superb reserve adjoining the town – adventure and discovery guaranteed!
The north and south are two different worlds, not only in terms of their landscape but also their economic structures. On this one strip of land fierce industrialization contrasts with a laid back tourist lifestyle.
