Antsirabe gets its name from "Any sira be", which means "the place with much salt". It rises to an altitude of nearly 5000 feet, and its hills are surrounded by thermal springs rich in mineral salts, perfect for a relaxing time during your trip.

An almost total isolation of the flora and fauna that have populated these last green spaces for millions of years have made it a sort of inaccessible Eden, which includes some parts that have never been explored by man. Makay is visited during hikes lasting several days, among the twists and turns made of yellow sandstone, which forms the massif. The slopes are not very steep, but the walk, which take place in sandy soils and sometimes in streams, requires good physical condition... therefore, leave it for trekking enthusiasts!
