Dear Sonia,
We are now home safely, after a strange journey through empty airports ! The ground crew at Juan Santamaria stood on the runway and waved us off with the Costa Rican flag as we taxied off as one of the last flights to leave. Sue and I both work in hospital so life is very different for us now, but everything is under control at present and we are well refreshed after our amazing holiday !
Thank you so much for arranging a wonderful itinerary and being so supportive, reassuring and helpful when things were changing on a daily basis and our natural instinct was to try and get home. Everyone we came across were so very helpful and friendly, the drivers were all excellent at a time when everyone was feeling a bit anxious. I would especially mention our local guide who ran Rana Roja in Tortuguero who looked after us so well. It was an amazing experience in Tortuguero, being the only tourists in the rain forest ! Aguila de Osa in Drakes Bay was also a highlight as were all the National parks we visited in Manuel Antonio and Osa peninsula before they shut down because of the virus.
I hope you and your family and staff are all well and that things can return to normal soon. We had an amazing unique experience and will be in contact about arranging another trip next year to see some more of your beautiful country.

My favorites moments of the trip were Azania Bungalows and Puerto Viejo Limon. Tortuguero, Mango Moon and Quepos Lots of friendly locals in Puerto Viejo Limon.
The best parts:
I loved everything about this vacation! Sonia did a great job helping me customize the trip so that we saw everything we wanted to see. We got to every location on time. Sonia even helped us organize a last minute excursion to Trapiche Coffee Plantation. I’ll definitely be back to Costa Rica again to see regions I didn’t get to see on this trip. And I will use Evaneos and Sonia again. I also will tell my friends and family about You!
The worst parts:
No worst parts! But if I had it to do over again I think I would have skipped Monteverde Cloud Forest since I didn’t zipline.

TRIPS BETWEEN PLACES, SPECIALLY THE LONG ONES, AS SAN JOSE TO CAHUITA AND ARENAL TO SANTA TERESA. SHOULD HAVE VISITS OR ACTIVITIES PROGRAMMED IN BETWEEN PLACES TO BREAK THE TRIPS

We found this tour option from a search of the internet followed by a conversation with Paola. We arrived in San Jose, spent 2 days there and visited the Doka coffee plantation, the volcano, and several museums. We then went to Tortuguera for several days followed 2 days at La Fortuna and then on to the beach. Great trip and we look forward to visiting Costa Rica again in the future!

Everything- the locations we visited were perfect, the tour guides and drivers were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet. The tour organizer - Paola - was superb. We are very grateful to have worked with such a talented professional.
The worst parts:
We liked all parts of the trip. If we had it to do over we would spend another 2-3 days at the beach, but that is our fault. : )

We stayed in 5 very different areas of the country and each had something I would not have wanted to miss. I especially loved ******** Hotel where the food and staff were excellent. *********at Manuel Antonia had the dream view from balcony. *********** Hotel had lovely hot springs, zip lining and white water rafting on the Sarapique River was a blast. ****** ****** at Tortuguero had great guides and wildlife. *********although nice was probably the least favourite of our trip. We were with our 12 year old Granddaughter and she loved it all.
The best parts:
We loved the variety of the places we stayed and the activities that we did.Sonia at************ arranged all our transfers with excellent and knowledgeable drivers.
The worst parts:
Maybe a little too long driving for the last resort and I didn't realize the road conditions. However it was me who requested to go to that area.

We went from Liberia to La Fortuna and back to Tamarindo. Our first hotel was ok. The second one had a great atmosphere. We experience zip lining, white water rafting and kayaking. We saw a lot of the countryside.
The best parts:
We loved getting to explore the country on our own with the rental car. All the planned activities and excursions were great. Trying the local food and being close to big cities were amazing.
The worst parts:
The worst part was getting stuck at the airport for over an hour feeling deserted in a foreign country and thinking I hired a scam travel agency.

Costa Rica reminded me of my home country in Ghana West Africa. Being there was like being at home. Food very tasty and fresh!!! The fish I want to eat daily, Empanadas amazing lol
People I met were very pleasant. Felt very at home

Costa Rica is a great country! We liked flora, fauna and vulcanoes so much! Well developed tourism, we felt safe all the time. Should have to come back for Tortuguero park to explore it more! Highly recommended trip with yourv travel agency!
The best parts:
- Quick and detailed answers of travel agent while building the program.
- Well organized and punctual transportation, helpful and polite drivers. As the traffic was very heavy from Puerto Viecho to San Jose airport, our driver did his best and more to reach the airport in time.
- The hotels matched the value for money. Perfect meal in Evergreen Lodge.
- Informative sightseeing tours, professional guides in Doka Estate coffee tour and Mistico Park tour (guide Julio in Mistico Park was very helpful and smart).
- Nice lunch buffet in La Paz gardens.
- We enjoyed Baldi Hot Springs, thank You so much!
The worst parts:
- 'Tailor made tour' was supposed to be more individual (too big group in Poás Volcano National Park and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Tortuguero activities), It does not concern transportation, it is obvious.
- Ticket for 15$ to Tortuguero park could be used better: boat tour had to be organized on the same day together with walking tour to the park. A nature hike of ~1 km to neighboring hotel was misuderstanding and waste of time.
- More activities could be offered in Tortuguero, not only relax by the pool. We organized turtle watching tour by ourselves.
- Lunch at the same place twice going to Tortuguero and back,
- Poor breakfast service at La Pradera hotel: waiter does not speak English, problem to get even some bread. But second day was much better with waitress service.

We loved lush green Costa Rica and being surrounded by nature! Zip lining and bridges in Monteverde were spectacular! Beach access, lots of wildlife and beautiful pool in Manuel Antonio were very relaxing! Provided transportation very convenient.
The best parts:
All accommodations were pleasant and in good locations for accessing our activities. The beds at A*** Lodge and K*** Hotel were extremely comfortable! Loved having direct access to beach from our hotel in Manuel Antonio. Even though we stayed in downtown San Jose you could not hear street noise from our room. Rooms were comfortable and staff at hotels and on shuttles were very friendly. All transportation arrived on time without any issues.
The worst parts:
Room at Karahe was a little dark , but otherwise comfortable.

We still can't believe everything we saw, everywhere we went - it was a dream. I can't wait to return. I would do it all again tomorrow!! From Tortuguero to Cahuita, then La Fortuna and Arenal volcano, to Monteverde, and back to San Jose for a few days. We were glad that we added in a city tour to get to know the capital and Costa Rica a bit more.
All of the individual guides throughout our tours were fantastic. Very friendly, and all very knowledgeable.
We really did discover the wonders of Costa Rica, its animals and birds, plants, the ecology of the country, and its people. And of course, we discovered PURA VIDA!
The best parts:
We had the most fantastic time visiting and touring around this amazing country. Every moment was just brilliant. It was above and beyond our expectations. We were amazed with how smooth our trip went, how well organised everything was, and the accomodations that had been arranged.
The worst parts:
Having to leave and come home :-(

We had a fantastic time in Costa Rica, the holiday of a lifetime. The itinerary and excursions organised were perfect, and we got to experience so much of Costa Rica in 2 weeks. It also allowed us a little time to organise our own excursions and experiences. Our favourite location was the beautiful Monteverde, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the rafting at sarapiqui. We also booked an afternoon sea fishing at Tamarindo, which was my own personal highlight.

Somewhat lacking information on the service receipts for hotels and excursions i.e. hotel check in times, pick up locations. This led to some confusion in one instance over whether we were to be collected, or had to drive to our excursion as I was given different information by 2 different Evaneos representatives, and I had to contact my representative the day before the excursion.

We loved the activities, in particular zip lining and Selvatura Park on Monteverde, the horse riding with Martin Horse, also the wildlife in Manuel Antonio. All the destinations - Tortuguero, Cahuita, Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio - are fantastic places with amazing wildlife.
The best parts:
The people were so friendly, wildlife was amazing, and hotels very comfortable. Everything was very smooth and well organised and it was a relaxing holiday. All the different activities were well planned and exciting.
The worst parts:
Wouldn’t change anything, however the longer drive to and from Cahuita and the traffic was hard going, but would not change anything / the destinations. The heat in Manuel Antonio meant that we did not have the energy to do very much, but such a beautiful location.

The best parts:
Being in fascinating jungle environments and seeing may different animals and birds. Experiencing the remoteness and beauty of Pirate Cove as well as the luxury of the the M**** hotel with its infinity pool and the Hotel C**** with its exotic surroundings and beach bar.

We went to three places: Drake Bay, Quepos (Manuel Antonio), and Monteverde. By comparison to the other two destinations, Monteverde was rather cool and damp. I would have preferred to go there first. All three places were beautiful. Everyone we met were very pleasant and helpful. All our transfers were on time and comfortable. A great trip!
The best parts:
I didn't know that the beach access at S*** H*** was so steep. My husband has COPD and, after making the climb back from the beach once, he could not do it again. So we weren't able to take advantage of Shana's beach.
The worst parts:
I would have liked to stay a little longer at Drake Bay. It was absolutely beautiful and the beach was not crowded.
