The plateau where Sen Monorom is located is about 3000 feet above sea level, making it a cool region for Cambodia. I crossed the Cardamoms by motorbike and it was just magical, a true adventure! I was delighted and surprised to discover such a natural richness, from one hour to the next, as the landscapes are completely different. You go from the jungle to pine forests, not forgetting the green hills, mangroves, rivers and streams. <a href="/cambodia/">During my stay in Cambodia</a>, I loved the stops at the makeshift market stalls which didn't sell anything, apart from crisps, to laugh with the Khmers who were unable to give me the slightest direction or distance. The arrival down to Koh Kong takes your breath away. The town is lovely and practical to set off from to discover the completely abandoned beaches, chat with the fishermen and eat delicious fish.
