In the Andes mountains, at the bottom of a deep valley, you will find Lake Escondido, a glacial lake like the other six lakes in the region. It is the Rio Escondido that takes its waters away. This emerald green lake is 975 metres above sea level and surrounded by a dense forest which gives it an unearthly charm.
I loved walking along the route of Neuquén's seven lakes.
